The giantess, whose name is never spoken, approaches Adria with a sinister grin. She towers over Adria, blocking out the sun with her immense figure, and challenges her to a game: if Adria wins, she will be free to live her life as she chooses; if she loses, however, she will become the giantess's plaything, to be used and discarded at her leisure.
A Bold Decision
Despite the immense risks involved, Adria accepts the giantess's challenge. As they move to a secluded part of the city, Adria can't help but feel a mixture of fear and anticipation coursing through her veins. The giantess reveals the game they will be playing: a deadly version of chess, where the pieces are real people, and the stakes are life or death. The giantess has already chosen her first victim - a young boy who is unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. With a cruel smile, she crushes him beneath her massive foot, sending a shiver down Adria's spine.
A Daring Strategy
As the game progresses, Adria realizes that she must use every bit of her wits and cunning to outsmart the giantess. She makes a bold move, sacrificing one of her own pieces - a young woman - in order to gain an advantage. The giantess is impressed by Adria's tactics, but also angered by her audacity. She warns Adria that there will be consequences for her defiance, but Adria remains unyielding. With one final, daring move, Adria manages to defeat the giantess, saving the remaining pieces on the board and claiming her freedom.
The Aftermath
In the wake of her victory, Adria finds herself both exhilarated and terrified.
